Counterpoint kicks off their 2021 release schedule with another addition to their acclaimed singles series, which was a regular feature on the Beatport Top 100 Drum & Bass releases throughout last year.

For our last couple of releases we have made a point of bringing back to the catalogue some of the most talented people we’ve worked with - and for the 24th output on our main label series, we keep that mindset by welcoming back Section.

James Barclay hails from South East England, and has been involved with the Drum & Bass scene for over 20 years.

Since 2013 he has been making music under the name ‘Section’, and besides releasing music on name-worthy labels such as Dread Recordings, Skeleton Recordings or Serial Killaz, he runs his own label - Locked Up Music, which has gained support from many corners of the globe.

This single is the result of a very intricate work between artist and label, and can be perfectly hear in the Deep bass, driving beats and energetic sounds which reflect Section’s interpretation of the Counterpoint sound.
